As a n00b here I didn’t want to be too critical, but yes. Please don’t do this.

Why would you want to advertise being a novice driver?

Looks like all the tags of a CL posting for a Chevy Cavalier.

When I discovered my interest in cars, I had already been a licensed driver for several years. Precision “stunt” driving and drifting had a lot to do with attracting me to become an enthusiast. As a “new convert”, I soon bought one of these placards for my car. However, it wasn’t the JDM culture that I was subscribing to. I wanted to be a precision driver, but I was no pro. I considered myself a rookie. Embracing the true meaning of the Shoshinsha mark, I displayed it on my car for several months.
Having seen the way American JDM culture has perverted its meaning, I removed it from my car. I didn’t want to be “that guy”. I am a better driver than I was back then, but I’ll never stop learning. “ You stop growing the moment that you stay at the top. ” I want to keep sharp as long as possible, and avoid earning a reason to display the Kreisha mark.

You do realize that the sticker tells others you could be a potential liability for being a novice driver, right? I never knew what they were when I was 13 and I had a feeling that the sticker weren’t good.

So you want to be a 16 year old ricer?

I’ve had my probationary license for all of 2 months, so I suppose I actually have a legitimate reason for using the Shoshinsha mark. However, it’s been perverted in the same way by the Malaysian JDM “scene” (actually best described as rebadged license-produced cars), so I’ve refrained from doing so.
In any event, a Hyundai Elantra isn’t a JDM car, nor is a 1997 Honda City.

You should buy a RHD VW from Japan and put that sticker on a long with its Japanese license plates.

Yes, if there’s some way to knock half the years off my life and mod Japanese cars all day, I’m going to take it.
